🏖️ Pool & Hot Tub Fun

​​Cottonwood Creek is a retirement-focused community. Guests—especially families with children—are kindly asked to help maintain a peaceful atmosphere. Please keep noise low, ensure safe behavior, and return lounge chairs to shaded areas to help preserve them. Thank you for your care and consideration.

​🎉 Monthly Pool Party
The Pool Party is held the 3rd Saturday of the month, 4-6 PM (winter) 5-7 PM (summer). It’s a great way to unwind, mingle, and make new friends. See Activity page for more information.

​

💦 Pool Aerobics
Stay active with Pool Aerobics, held Monday through Friday at 2:00 PM. All fitness levels welcome!

Pool Rules

🏊‍♀️ Pool & Hot Tub Guidelines

To help everyone enjoy a safe and relaxing experience, please note:

  • Pool and hot tub use is reserved for CCPOI residents and their guests, and is always at your own risk.

  • Posted rules and procedures are in effect at all times—thank you for following them.

  • For safety, children 12 and under are not permitted in the hot tub, and anyone under 18 must be supervised by an adult.

  • To keep the atmosphere pleasant for all, rowdy or disrespectful behavior may result in being asked to leave by any CCPOI homeowner.

  • Homeowners are responsible for the conduct of their guests.

🍹 Poolside Social Reminder

Bring a snack to share and your favorite beverage—let’s enjoy some good company and casual fun!

If it rains, we’ll gather in the clubhouse community center instead.

🕔 Time Reminder:

  • April–October: Events begin at 5:00 PM

  • November–March: Start time shifts to 4:00 PM (thanks to the time change)

Pool Closed

🏊‍♂️ Pool Closure Times

To keep our pool clean and safe, please note the following closures:

  • Scheduled Cleaning:
    Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00–10:00 AM
    Feel free to sunbathe during this time, but please stay out of the pool and hot tub water.

  • Weather & Safety Closures:
    The pool is closed whenever:

  • A Pool Closed sign is posted

  • The gate is locked

  • Thunder or lightning is present

🛟 Pool Safety Guidelines

Your safety matters! Please keep these important reminders in mind while enjoying the pool area:

​

  • Swim at your own risk — there is no lifeguard on duty.

  • An AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is mounted on the wall outside the pool gate. In case of cardiac emergency, power it on and follow the voice instructions.

  • A life ring is located on the white fence inside the pool area. Toss it to anyone in need of flotation support.

  • For everyone’s safety and comfort, please no running, diving, glass containers, dogs, bikes, or skateboards inside the pool area.
